The Adventure is Better Together

After more than 20 years together, we’ve learned that the magic of a solid relationship isn’t just in the big milestones — it’s in the little moments. In quiet corners of the park. In worn wooden fences and inside jokes. In the way we still look at each other after all this time. 💫

Justin and I have grown up together. Built a life. Navigated change, challenge...and countless Disney maps. 😂 For 16 years, Justin has made a tradition of posing in front of this fence on Tom Sawyer Island at the Magic Kingdom— right in front of the name “Tom.” It became a little ritual of ours, a familiar spot on the map in a place that’s always changing.

And now, like many beloved things in life, this too is coming to a close. It’s the end of an era for this part of the park and therefore time to say goodbye to this tradition.

So here’s to what’s behind us — and to what's ahead! 🥰

Still, we play. We explore. We wander. But more than anything, we anchor in each other.

Because as much as we’ve loved the places we’ve been together — it’s never really been about a place. It’s always been about the person for me. Justin has always felt like home to me. No matter where we are in the world, when I’m with him, I feel safe, secure, seen, and loved.

So even as this tradition comes to an end, I’m not grieving...I’m grateful! And, curious. What the next 16 years will hold? What new places will we explore, what new traditions will we create, and how much deeper our connection will grow? 🤔
