My Results after 1 Year of Build with Becky!
Ever overthink…well, everything?! 😅 Same.
Which is why this update feels fun to share—for once, I’m not (at least not too much—baby steps!) Letting things feel a little lighter is a new focus! ✨
These photos span years (not weeks) of my journey, with a closer look at the past year using my own Build with Becky program + macro tracking.
In the past, I might’ve avoided posting something like this. As a trainer, the last thing I want is for transformation photos to invite comparison or judgment. This is my journey.
My body is neutral. It’s not better or worse when it’s bigger or smaller, stronger or weaker—just like I’m not a better person now that I’m taller than when I was shorter. 🤣 The baseline is: my body is a good body, always. I hope you can hold that baseline for yourself, too.
At the same time, I believe in body autonomy. Within my genetics, time, and energy, I can choose to explore what’s possible: build muscle, lose fat, engage in body recomposition. What used to come from a place of “not enough” now comes from curiosity, data-not-identity, and continuous learning.
Here’s the simple-not-always-easy “how” behind this particular year:
- ✅ Consistent, progressive strength training 3x/week (my BWB program 💪)
- ✅ Macro tracking (prioritizing protein+fiber, with seasonal tweaks to carbs/fats, with a very slow, sustainable calorie deficit)
- ✅ Mindfulness & body-led behavior and habit change (sleep, steps, stress management, nixing alcohol, mindset)
- ✅ Prioritizing mental + emotional health + relationships alongside physical health
- ✅ Finding deeper purpose and meaning in my work
- ✅ Ongoing education and support
This isn’t the whole story, but it’s a a few snapshots of growth—inside and out.
