Day 1 of the NSCA Virtual Personal Trainer’s Conference is a wrap! 🙌🔥

Can we talk about how amazing @nscaofficial is at delivering top-notch professional development?! This was my first-ever industry event (even before I got certified!) and they’re still knocking it out of the park for busy trainers like me! 🎯

Here’s what I learned today:

🔹 Cold & Heat Exposure for Recovery and Lifestyle—perfect for boosting strength training results, if applied correctly and with consistency, thanks for those details and insights go to @mar_health 🧊🔥

🔹 Pre & Perinatal Strength Training—Dr. Tessa Koschel @fitnesstherapy_org dropped endless knowledge bombs on how to prepare clients for the “ultimate gameday” of childbirth, and the “return to play” postpartum 💪(also it was pretty fun to see @buh.lak.ayy wearing a frontpack to simulate a pregnant belly while repping out various movement patterns in the practical session! 🤰🤣)

🔹 Personalized Protein Goals—@kellyjonesrd schooled us on tailoring protein needs for everyone, from active adults to those in perimenopause, and even recovery from injuries! 🍗🏋️‍♀️

How incredible is it that I got to learn all of this in just one afternoon?! 🤯 Can’t wait for day 2 tomorrow! 🙌💥
