6 Months without Alcohol
Six months ago, a 10-day break from alcohol transformed into a life-changing journey I never expected! đ
While no magic cure to all of your problems exists, and you should be suspicious of anyone promising as much, this pause has supercharged my sleep, energy, and overall performance. Every âsober firstââfrom owning a party or night out without alcohol to smashing training goalsâbuilds undeniable proof: change is possible!
Milestones I'm Celebrating:
- Embracing new adventures (yes, even group travel!)
- Crushing heavy deadlifts and breaking personal records
- Achieving a comeback in chin-ups and squats
- Rediscovering the joy of headstands and inversions
- Progressing my run training from a 10k last year to a 10-mile race this year, setting new PRs along the way!
- Continuing slow, steady, sustainable body recomposition (losing body fat while maintaining or building lean muscle mass) through prioritizing protein, focusing on fiber, ditching alcohol, and leaning on a stellar support system of family and friends!
Every win fuels my journey, and reflecting on these milestones is key to continuous growth.
