When was the last time you did something…just for fun?
Last weekend felt a little magical. 🤩
Intentional female friendships don’t just happen—they are found, nurtured, and cherished. I’ve been lucky to build a circle of women who lift each other up, but I also know that creating and sustaining these relationships takes effort.
One of my friends (and a founding BWB member), @aphoenix , is a gifted event planner—she even helped design my first Build with Becky retreat last year. So I should have known that when she got a "tiny idea that quickly grew"—rooted in the belief that gathering in friendship has immense value—it would be something special.
When Abby first had the thought, she was looking for something meaningful to bring women together. And when she couldn’t find it? She created it herself. That moment—where an idea turns into action—is where so much of the best in life happens.
It made me pause and reflect: How often do we have great ideas—about our relationships, our dreams, our well-being—but never act on them?
And when was the last time you prioritized friendship, simple joy, or retreat—just for fun? Because this too is self-care. Relationships are fundamental to our emotional and mental well-being, yet too often, we let busyness crowd them out.
This weekend was a reminder that making space for friendship isn’t just a luxury—it’s a necessity. And I walked away with five incredible new friends as proof. 💝
When was the last time you prioritized connection—just because? Maybe this is your sign to do so. ❤️
